The electrostatic precipitator addresses the problem of varnishing and sludge, which arises due to lubricant degradation within the thermal and mechanical stresses within the machinery. Left untreated, the varnishing and sludge agglomerates together to create sticky, high friction deposits on oil wetted surfaces inside the machinery. This leads to erratic valve performance, elevated operating temperatures, and even seizure and seal failure.

The electrostatic precipitator uses time tested electrostatic principles to remove existing varnish and sludge. Oil cleaned by the ECR unit will re-absorb even thick hardened deposits in every corner of the lubricating or hydraulic system, and the submicron suspended deposits are circulated back to the unit and permanently removed. Your entire system becomes varnish free from reservoir to actuator, servo valve to heat exchanger.

PLUMBINGLeak free ORB fittings and high quality stainless steel tubing eliminate leakage. Dual inlet and outlet ports give more installation flexibility and can mate to other EPT equipment.
HEAVY DUTY CLEANING VESSEL
Safety is a major concern with any high voltage system. The ECR’s fully grounded metal vessel eliminates the risk of shock. The advanced vessel design and solid aluminum construction reduces piping and protects sensing components.
The vessel lid and sealing system requires no tools to open and provides the best chamber seal in the industry.
NEMA 4 PROTECTIONCritical high voltage and control systems are fully protected from environmental conditions by a NEMA 4 enclosure for outdoor applications.
FLOW RATE AND CAPACITYThe ECR combines a higher flow rate with the proper dwell times in the cleaning chamber for the best performance in the industry.
SAMPLING PORTAn integrated sampling port allows easy access and leak free sealing for consistent oil sampling.
